Pride and pita chips
Day 9: What do you think about LGBT Pride? Is it helpful or hurtful? Encouraged or unnecessary?
I absolutely love LGBT Pride. I think it’s great that someone started a great big movement to embrace who we are and love one another. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity of attending the Pride Parade in San Francisco a few times, and it is just the most glorious, colorful, and quirky parade I’ve ever seen :) One of my favorite parts is parents of LGBT people marching with signs proclaiming that they love their children no matter what. My other favorite is families with same-sex parents marching - some pushing carriages, some hoisting their adopted children up on their shoulders, and all walking together as a strong family.
