That peaceful feeling
Life
is
good.
I love that feeling. I was a little frazzled before rehearsal began today - No singers? No keys to open the chapel? Still nervous about directing music? Craziness.
But the Lord has blessed this evening by having two friends from a local church AND Music Coordinator (OMG do I have to change his nickname if he’s not music coordinator anymore?!) show up to sing in our joyful choir. Our guitar player from last year is making his comeback. Our pianist and violinist were amazing as always, and I’m getting more comfortable with conducting and taking initiative with the music.
For the past couple Sundays I’ve been really nervous during rehearsal, but once Mass started, it was smooth sailing. I’d be surrounded by music and prayer; all those little worries didn’t matter anymore.
I put away all the equipment and left the chapel thinking, “Life is good.” I love being able to say that at the end/beginning of the week. My life is full of love. Being music coordinator is an even more rewarding experience than singing in the choir :)
