Today I am thankful for...

Welcome to my gratitude blog, which was formerly my 365 project (posts 5/30/10 - 5/30/11). I will continue posting 10 things for which I am grateful to help me (and maybe you too) stay positive.

Here's to optimism, gratitude, and all the simple pleasures of life :)

A joyous Christmas season

Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn king! Peace on Earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!”

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone :) I hope you’re having a peaceful and happy time with the ones you love. I’ve been enjoying my time here with San Jose peeps very much (and demolishing all the hot spiced cider in sight). I’m home from attending a beautiful Christmas Mass, feeling fat and sassy from a doughnut and coffee breakfast w/Sissy and Teal Sharkie, and being very much at peace with the way things are going in my life.

This past week has been a blur; there’s no way I can do all my gratitude justice in one blog post, but I will give you what I can, and hope that you also have many things for which to be thankful during this happy season.

  1. Lezzie being supportive and liking me just the way I am :)
  2. Baking dark chocolate peppermint cupcakes for the coolest clinic ever!
  3. Lunch w/clinic peeps, especially Teddy who also started PT school :D
  4. Visiting the clinic and seeing my old supervising PT, the manager, my buddy, and meeting new faces :)
  5. Visiting the ol’ hospital to drop off Christmas goodies for my other supervising PT
  6. Making mini cheesecakes for visiting CV
  7. Taking the bus to the mall (fyeahselfsufficiency)
  8. Starting on Water for Elephants - love it so far!
